Heads Down
Jun. 5th, 2002 03:34 pmI've been heads down on stuff all day long... I was right in the middle of an update to the corporate website when we lost our internet connection... kind of. It's too flakey to publish the website but, hopefully, not too flakey to post to LJ :).
While I was at Mom's she said she wanted to get a copy of her Visa bill every month so she could check off each item. She even grabbed a piece of paper and a pencil and showed me how she would check each thing off. It was pretty funny.
We pay a wonderful trust department to handle the paying of all of her bills. I fixed her up so she has access to her Visa charges via Money Central and she checks it about 4 times a day. (She does charge everything on her Visa so it's a busy account.) But, heck, she wants a copy she can check off, I'll get her one. I called the wonderful trust department and they happily agreed to send her a copy.
I just got an email from Mom that said "I just talked to Torry (the wonderful woman at the trust department who handles Mom). Why do I want a copy of my Visa bill? She said I did but I can't figure out why. I can see it in my computer, can't I?"
3000 miles between us is about right.
