New phone adventures
Jun. 4th, 2010 11:42 amI have it in hand. The HTC EVO.
The store opened at 8 and I got there at 8:30. I had the phone in my hand at 10:30 but it sure seemed a lot longer than 2 hours.
The Sprint computer systems had already been stressed out by the other time zones so the going was slow but at least I don't live in Hawaii.
While the guy was getting my phone going, the store ran out. They said they would have more tomorrow. I'd guess I saw 30 leave the store, maybe less, and there were at least 30 in the back all bagged up waiting for pickup.
The phone came half charged which is nice. I have work to do but I think I'm going to steal a half hour and play with it.

Date: 2010-06-04 07:24 pm (UTC)There are a few bugs in their calendar application (mostly dealing with 'all day' events on the wrong day). Even though that's a fairly critical thing to me it's still a good phone.
