I just found what may be my favorite feature of this new phone. I plugged it into my computer and the phone displayed a list - I can:

Charge only
Mount as a drive
Sync
Share internet connection

CHOICES!!! How very wonderful is that??!!

Also I like the look and the feel. And the fact that all of contacts were available in the phone instantly. The voice search is a hoot. I can click a button and say my search terms and it searches everything at once - perfectly, instantly. The browser rocks. I can turn on 'hot spot' and be an instant wireless network for multiple devices. Pandora - in the background.

There's a way to send your photos directly to flickr but I'll be damned if I can figure out how it works. I keep taking pictures and 'sending' them and they keep not being there. I can email but not send directly and I'm not at all sure it matters one bit.

Interestingly, I just sent a photo to Flickr and the same one to Picasa... Google loves its own :)

There is no Kindle app yet but is promised this Summer.

There's a chance that this will make my iPad obsolete. We'll see.

I'm guessing you'll still want your iPad for book reading.

Speaking of which, after seeing the features for the new iPhone 4, I'm not lusting after the iPad nearly as much anymore. That phone will give me virtually everything I'm ever going to want or need; I'm fine with reading real books for a while longer.
