And the earthquake was in San Diego, for chrissakes. Imagine if it were in the Bay Area, it'd be down for days!

Yep. It's clear that a bay area quake would not count at all.

The first I heard about last night's was your LJ entry. In the olden days, LJ would have been full of the reports. Yours was the only one on my friends list who mentioned it.

I usually bristle at those who revel in The Good Old Days but I do miss the LJ hey days.
