gym report - water, water, well just enough

So, I turned on the water to brush my teeth this morning and the water pressure was really really low. Flushing the toilet also indicated a water issue... So, I thanked my lucky stars that I did not have to get all dressed up and presentable for other people in an office all day and got on my gym clothes.

I packed up a kit of other clothes and went across the street. There are a bajillion and a half workers and cops and machinery all surrounding four jets of water coming up from the street at the intersection. But, happily, the gym still had a little water so I did my workout knowing I could sweat to my heart's content.

I did 30 minutes on the elliptical and it was really not bad all all. I did intervals, had a good podcast to listen to, and didn't mind it one bit.

Then I went in and took a shower. The gym's locker/shower room is very very very nice! There is shampoo and body wash and even deodorant and hair stuff and q-tips! And it all shines like it is brand new. Very very pleasant experience.

Now I am home with work to do and so I'm gong to get to it. Still very grateful!

Oh this just in... so the pink and green bear that I posted this morning with the comment on how much my mother hates those colors??? Well, the photos all go into Twitter Buzz that my sister-in-law reads. She just sent a comment that those were her favorite colors and that she used them in all three of her weddings.

I am so chuckling.
