I am stuck in this torturous meeting. It's noon on day 1 and we are only 1.5 hours behind. I love it that corporate types cannot tell time.

The only up side to the whole thing is that this is the most elegant place in the world to pee. Here's a photo from one of our earlier meetings:

Each of the stalls in the ladies' room has a picture window like this with a view. On the one hand it's kind of bad that the highlight of these two days will be getting to go to the bathroom. But, on the other hand, at least there is some fun.

(We're meeting in the private club on the top two floors (75 and 76) of the tallest building in Seattle. It's in the center of downtown.)

The most spectacular place I've ever peed

is about 100 miles from you. In the Icicle Creek area, in the national forest near Wenatchee, there was a port-a-potty
outhouse? pit toilet
out in the middle of the wilderness. However, it didn't have a roof and the sides only came up about shoulder high
when seated. So it didn't stink and it had great views of the northern Cascades.

I wonder if it still there? This was 1969 and I was on a 6 day backpacking trip with a church group. I think the area
has had at least two forest fires since then.

Sheesh. What a view. I'd like an *office* in one of those stalls. (as an added bonus I can pee at my desk! %^)

Well, what the heck. You get paid to be there, you have the bathroom...what more could you be wanting??

I was joking, of course. I have difficulty getting through that kind of meeting myself. It is very hard to deal with boredom and bad leadership. You were smart to come so well-prepared, to make it as painless as possible. I've been known to raise a ruckus, to be the bad kid in the meeting, just to get through it.
