Strange clues

This morning I came in to find:

• My chair was connected to the desk with a rubberband. It was so obvious that I noticed the rubber band before I figured out the chair was connected to anything.


• My mouse had a post-it note covering it's 'eye' so it was pretty useless. The post-it note was not one that came from my desk on the one next to it. I have two mice and the other one was untouched.


• There were three things added to my shelf o' handy stuff (where I keep the Mariners schedule, the chapstick, the staple remover and the jar of corn candy) were three new items. Two tiny ducks and a tiny rhino. They were nestled in with the rest of the stuff and I nearly didn't notice them at all.

This picture sucks but the little ducks are carved out of wood and painted and really lovely. The rhino is ceramic.

I don' t know that the prankster left the animals. In fact, I know nothing. It's very flattering to have someone pick you out for goodies and tricks.

That was a fabulous link! Thank you. I had never heard the tale and loved it. As a matter of fact, Kenny tried to take credit for the critters this afternoon. He's a sweet guy - very smart and very talented and cannot tell a convincing lie to save his soul.

And you know it is impossible to put an object of that size into any of my various orifices so i do wish they would stop suggesting I try that. That being something which is against the law in at least five states (excepting Utah)
