Break time!

On Saturday when I was walking in machupicchu's neighborhood, I happened to look up and see these windows. There are actually three of them - clearly kitchen windows in an upstairs apartment in a smallish apartment building. They have aprons for curtains. So cool. It made me want to go visit them and see the rest of their decorations. I told machupicchu about it and he found them with his camera.

Lots of work this morning but now I'm caught up. This new deal of getting two days off has sure made me more interested in and enthusiastic about the days I'm not off. Nice.

I finally bit the bullet and upgraded my Netflix account to add one DVD. The streaming is fine and great but there are now enough things I want to see that are only available in DVD - like Season 4 of Big Love. Renting from Amazon works but at mostly $4 a pop, the $2 a month extra that Netflix wants seems more than reasonable.

My freezer is all empty and ready for Chef Anita. I'm looking forward to tomorrow being filled with delicious for the taste and smell and Wednesday, when the new TV comes, full of delicious for the eyes. I've been studying the manual. (One of the many great and wonderful gifts brought to us by the internets is PDF's of all the manuals for everything you own. No more turning the house upside down to find the one you want. heaven)

I found more people over in a Flickr forum who are suffering the same issues I am with phone upload privacy settings. Turns out it's not just my phone but Android 2.2. No solution but nice to suffer with friends.

Good thing you told me they were aprons because the white one looked like a ghost and the orange/red one like a pumpkin. I thought someone forgot to take down their Halloween decorations.
