Did everyone know about these but me?

Yesterday when I was in our huge and varied Japanese grocery store, I was looking for graham crackers and found SkyFlakes instead. I was sucked in by the cool looking tin.
I got 'em home and gave 'em a go and wow! They are delicious!! Nothing fancy - more substantial than saltines and just a fine, fine taste in a very cool looking tin. Why didn't anyone ever tell me about these? What else are you holding out on me about????
The Northwest is a fabulous place to live but there are some food items that are totally missing or very scarce (

Then again, I've never had Ben and Jerry's Coffee Toffee Crunch ice cream other. Lots of other flavors, but not any of the coffee ones.
No Hellman's Mayo either. Although they say it's Best Foods out here.

Date: 2003-06-29 08:55 am (UTC)I'll bet if you look in one of your mini-stops (7/11, am/pm, whatever) you'll find 'em. They are about 3-4 inches across. Big cookie, marshmellow, big cookie all covered in chocolate.

But I have found that Pillsbury now has pretty good southern biscuit. It is in the frozen food section with the frozen dinner rolls. There is a good chance that they won't carry them either, but it might be worth a shot. I keep them because they are much better than my attempts. I just never watched my mom enough to get the hang of it.
