I got bikes!
Jun. 29th, 2003 09:25 amNot dykes on bikes - they are all over in Capital Hill (about 10 mins from here) getting ready to kick off the Pride parade.
I got a front yard full of all of the rest of the motorcycle cliches - They are lining up now for the second annual ride for some kind of children's organization. Last year the news said they had 500 bikers. This year it looks like they have twice that. Fun to watch. They should be peeling out about 10 I think.
I'm really not tempted to go to the Pride parade this year. It's too hot. There's a Mariner game. My good, easy, clean bathroom and ice water location (Jack and Hemry's house) is gone - they moved to Atlanta. It takes so much energy to get there and get home with all of the traffic and mess. There is plenty to celebrate this year, they don't need me. I hope it is fine and wonderful and glorious as it usually is.
If you need me, I'll be here, air conditioning on wishing the east coast would share some of their rain. I am really getting tired of watering those stupid geraniums. That's God's job and she's been slacking off around here.
