susandennisThe webcam is now all fixed. The bandwidth issues seem to be better as well. I'm still not sure of what is going on but the speed now is at least good enough for me to not worry about it and let it settle in. Maybe it's just the modem and the router getting to know each other. New relationships can be tough at first.
I think I have the Twitter to LJ feed up and running again. I discovered that when Twitter didn't feed LJ, I didn't Twitter and I like Twittering mostly. So I put it back.
I did forget that when you open your Twitter mouth, you get all kinds of followers. I am so not interested in making money fast or easy or at home or without effort or any part of your MLM scheme (and love that some people even spell out that they have the perfect MLM plan - isn't that kind of like saying Rob this bank without getting caught?)... I am pinged via email every time someone follows me so I just go in and block 'em. I've been a blockin' fool today. (Oh and one tweet about a cat toy brought out a bunch of fools with 'great' deals for my dog. Some bots just suck.)
I have a load of laundry laundrying. I consolidated all the stacks of paper on my desk with the stack hidden behind a cabinet door and went through every bit and filed or trashed (mainly trashed). And I'm about to go empty the dishwasher and clean up the kitchen.
Have I mentioned how much I'm loving my days off? Next week I only have Wednesday off and the following week I only have Friday off but still... part time rocks. So far I've been supplementing my income with vacation time. I had 5 years worth in the bin. Not only is this a bad place to keep money, it was making the boss cranky. So now I'm cashing it in bit by bit. My savings will take over once the vac runs out. But, I suspect that they will get more budget before then and I'll be back to 40 or more hours a week. So I'm making sure I enjoy now now!
