Surprise! It's the quarterly meeting!!

I've worked here 2 years. Every quarter there is a meeting of the sales and marketing team. The meeting dates are set months in advance.

And, yet, it has never once occurred to anyone in charge that they could plan ahead... I just had the second executive today stop by my desk and ask me if I could get some kind of company swag to give away. The guy this morning wanted t-shirts for Thursday. I told him that I might be able to pull it off at about $25 a shirt but that the quality would not be great. Just now the request was for whistles with the company logo on them. Does the acronym NFW mean anything to you, asshole?

I was personally not dreading this one as much as usual because it's really only a day and a half instead of the usual three. But, now I'm begginning to think I was being overly optomistic...
