Promises, Promises... :(

susandennisAll talk and no flakes. That's what we have so far. My next door neighbors use their condo as an office for their insurance business. They actually live in the suburbs and only spend the night here after Mariner games. I just ran into him in the hall and he said they were planning on staying here tonight so they could be sure to be here to open the office tomorrow.
Not a flake, not one single snow flake do we have. But, we have promises and forecasts and all the talk and chatter... Just no snow. Poop.
I've had a nice day. My new project will mean that I will be the lead to 3 other producers who are not now on the project and so have to be trained. We have a 3 hour session scheduled for Friday so I spent a fair amount of time today gathering materials and thinking about how to run the session. I am the world's worst instructor. Seriously, I suck at it. But, I am determined to do the best job I can. I hope. I'm ready.
And I organized the fridge. I thought I had a cucumber in there but apparently not however, now I have everything sorted so that I can more easily tell what's there and what's not. Chef Anita comes next Thursday and I a drawer cleared just for her stuff. So that's all done.
And the house is picked up. Amira comes to clean tomorrow and I wanted to be ready and I am.
The news just came on and they are still promising snow. Jesus, guys, get a grip.
