The Comcast guys were unable to find any issues last night. My connection to corpnet continued to go down every 15 minutes until I went to bed. I'm waiting for it to fail again now (should be in about 10) then I'm going to call the IT folks and make sure there's no issue there and let Comcast know there's still a problem.
Chef Anita will be here in less than an hour.
Our work data base switch is today and starting at 11 am will have a full 8-9 of stuff that has to be done immediately. (If the systems are working correctly, however, we should be able to knock it out in 4.)
My gym class is from 2-2:30.

Well, we have a couple of new wrinkles since the above... Now I have to go to a Microsoft office to install some software. Happily, I do not have to go back to Redmond. I do with I had known about this on Tuesday but... whatever. And the work stuff has been pushed to 1.
I think this day is going to be way more full than I originally thought which was full enough.

Date: 2011-03-03 08:24 pm (UTC)kind of hard to pin the 1/2 reduction in speed on Microsoft plus the last time I lost my VPN connection routinely, it was Comcast issue that they fixed.
it is looking, at this juncture, however, that the problem is maybe 1/2 msit and 1/2 comcast.
