She was out and now she's back

I decided to go to The Georgian Room for brunch. I picked it over my second choice (Seatown) because the walk there takes me by the convention center where ComicCon is going on and that's always fun passer by watching. And there is a Key Bank on Third that I could swing by for ATMness on the way home.

The ComicCon viewing was great. All manner of people wallowing in their element. It was fun.

The Georgian Room not so much. When I dine in that kind of elegance, I want service. Fine, what-else-can-we-get-for-you-your-majesty service. Their kitchen has been under rennovation since the beginning of the year and their brunch selection is buffet or buffet. The buffet is lovely but I don't want to serve myself thankyouverymuch. Today the guy brings me the toast I had to ask for twice and then tells me there is butter on the buffet table. Up and down and up and down - I could have gone to Catholic mass and gotten that kind of knee action.

But, I asked on the way out and they said they may well have the kitchen open next week, if not, the following week. Yeah.

Then, of course, the Key Bank branch on 3rd had no ATM. WTF? Oh well.

Now I am home and running bitlocker on the work machine. I think this is going to be a major PIA but it can't be avoided.

Now it's time for CBS Sunday Morning and then the baseball game.

Key Bank on 3rd? I don't think there is such a beast. There's the one at 4th and Union, just 1 block north of The Georgian, which definitely does have an ATM, as I use it all the time. There's also the one at 2nd and something in the south end of downtown, which is indeed bizarrely and frustratingly without an ATM, which also annoys me occasionally.

tep u r rite... it was 2nd and marion. i passed up the 4th one cause the 2nd was was on my way. who has a bank branch without and atm? is that even legal???
