Ok! Come on! But remember, I'm no [livejournal.com profile] ruralrob or [livejournal.com profile] androkles - these aren't beautiful shots, I just wanted to show you the trip... And, don't worry, the clouds have rolled it so it is cooler now than it was.

We're on our way.  First across the
parking lot to the pedestrian bridge.  (My condo is exactly behind us.)
Here's that pedestrian bridge.  It's
really quite fancy and very functional.  Before they built it, we would
have had to go around several city blocks to get where we are going today.
The is the end of the pedestrian bridge
looking across the road.  The arrow shows where we are going.
And, here's my nice grocery.  It
looks smaller here but it takes up more than half this city block.  It
has a food court, bookstore, gift shop and full grocery store.  Ready
to go in?

You gotta love a place where you can get
Japanese pasta to go under your Newman's own sauce!
I'm not a natural lover of veggies but
this place has some spectacular stuff.  This is just a teensy bit of
it.  If they don't have it, you shouldn't oughta want it.  Had
enough?  Ready to head back?

Ok, with our back to the store, you can
already see my house
Now we're at the top of the pedestrian
bridge headed back and you can see where we're going.  Arrow #1 is my
house and arrow #2 is where I work.
And, here's my house!  Right there at
the top to the trees.  Not the one on top - that's the one above me.
Mine is the one just at the top of the tree.

Fabulous! What an adventure. I'll go lie down and have a cup of tea, now.
You should take us out more often ...

Susan, you probably already know it, but this is exactly the kind of stuff I love to see. Everyday life and one's own environment illustrated in photos. And don't understimate that talent of yours. The views are well chosen and well taken. I absolutely loved seeing these pics of your world!

Ever thought of taking your camera to work one day?

Oooh I liked that walk ...loved seeing where you live , even what is on your grocery shelves. Maybe I should do something similar , walk to the local Tesco and show you what is on my route?

Great grocery. M says I always take forever at the store (hey, I like to browse and compare sometimes). I can just imagine how long I'd be in that one...bookstore and gift shop!

hahaha!!! Love it. Thanks for doing that even though I know it was a trillion degrees outside.

(gotta go to Seattle)

But when it is cool.

Hey, where's the fog and rain? Did it move to Georgia?
