It's the first Monday of the month and so Fresh Flowers of the Month day! This month is Birds of Paradise! This picture does not reflect how vibrant the colors are. It is a beautiful arrangement. I love the tall vase for a change.

I have spent yet another day Fucking Around With This Damn Computer. I am making progress but, seriously, I'm not asking this thing to go up against Ken Jennings in Jeopardy. Just get me onto the corporate network with the tools I need to do my silly job.

Every time I fix one thing, it wants an update and a reboot and that brings up 2 more problems. It's a fixed game of whack-a-mole and the house has the odds.

I did take a break to make a batch of breakfast muffins so the day has not been a total waste.

I have two large and one small bumps on my head. They are covered by my hair. They have been there for years. I've hated them for years. I'm thinking about investigating having them removed. I am guessing it's either a job for a plastic surgeon or a dermatologist. When it's not Monday (which I figure is the Day Of All Crises for a doctor's office), I'll call my regular doctor and ask him.

I still have the appointment with the foot guy. It's not for 2 weeks and I haven't decided whether or not to keep it. I probably will. Neighbor Ann says if I don't, this bump on my foot will flare up and really piss me off and I suspect she's right.

Kind of a head to toe deal going on here.

Holymotherfucker... I just did an update that did NOT require a reboot and did another that says there are no more. Until tomorrow, I'm sure, since it's Microsoft Update Tuesday... but for now. Hallefuckinglooyah!!!

No work in the queue. So I think I may just work on a bear.

Try dermtologist first. I have one of those too, and they just do it in office. I'm just too lazy to get an appointment and just go get it taken care of. My dermatologist said it's harmless. I can live with that.

Love the flowers! Those will last a long time and they really do look like birds.

I love Bird of Paradise - and for some reason they always seem to have a 1950s feel to them, the spikey look I guess.
