After I quit work last night I had to start again to help out one of the people on my team. It was fine. If I take the time to get all my team members up to speed, it will make my life sooooo much easier from here on out so it is totally worth any start up pain. I have three people and two are well on their way to good. So I'm feeling victory.

Plus,I finally finally finally got Direct Access working. This means I rarely have to use the flaky VPN to get to the corporate network. When the computer's up and running, I'm connected. Big Bonus. Whew.

This morning started off early and fast but now I'm in wait mode again. I got so much done yesterday, I'm cool with a little wait time today.

Amira and her daughter came this morning. The house is clean and it smells so good. And Travis has already recovered from the vacuum cleaner trauma he always suffers on Amira day. My gym today will be class at 2. Hate the time, love the class.

We were supposed to have ferocious weather today - wind and rain and wind and rain. So far, at least here, we've had mild breezes and sun. Why do I even ever listen to weather people?? At least the sun has been muted a bit now by clouds so that in a little bit it will be completely overhead and out of my face.

I think maybe I'll go make myself a sandwich so that when lunchtime comes, I'll be all ready.

I do want to note so I don't forget and can find again, an entry today by [livejournal.com profile] zyzyly. The older I get, the more often I think of how the end of my life will be. I don't think it will be in Sacramento but if it is, I sure hope it is on his shift.
