I knew I was headed for 10-12 hour days for the next 14 days straight but I found out this morning that those 14 days might well turn into 21 or 28. I'm too old. And about the time I was trying to figure out how I was going to cope, I got an email from [livejournal.com profile] machupicchu telling me that the movie I want to see (Paul) opens this weekend at my favorite movie theater, they have an 11:30 showing on Saturday and why don't we meet for breakfast first.

OMG yes. Just the kind of break I need at the perfect time. Yay!

So now all I have to do is make it to Saturday. I can do that, I think. The Mariners game is on TV tonight so that will be a lovely treat.

I had a most bizarre dream involving my ex-husband last night. He rarely shows up anywhere - dreams, thoughts, whatever. We have been divorced now for more than 30 years... Then I realized his birthday is in a few days. If he's still alive, he'll be 84. He was a lovely man. Deadly dull but lovely and I'm sure he still is - just maybe duller.

Ok, time now to get back to work. At least I have a lovely dinner to look forward to. I don't think I can appreciate Chef Anita more than I do right now. But, I'm probably wrong about that.

Wow. What a random subject to have come up. I'm curious about the story behind all of that, even though it was 30 years ago. Goodness, that is a long time.

Well, that makes sense. I had a boyfriend for the same reason, once, but I knew early on it was a mistake, too. And those are things you just can't learn except from experience. *shrugs*

"Lovely Man and EX husband" haha would never be in the same sentence for most- or at least with my experience!!! But I too can have those dreams about my Ex in which they can flavor my attitude for the whole day.. And just a note- I would give anything to now date a "Deadly dull" fellow instead of "the life of the party" which is who I mistakenly married. Live & Learn..
