Highs and Lows...

When I got to Costco this morning, I discovered much to my horror that my beloved CheeseCrisps had an asterisk on their price card and there was only one carton of them... It's End of Life for my Drug of Choice!!! So I bought 6 of them. Yep, $40 of cheese snacks. If I discontinue mainlining them, they may last. I picked up a beautiful arrangement of fresh spring flowers to console me.

Then home to work for a bit and then I was late for my haircut so I hauled ass up the street and arrived there exactly on time and had to wait. I was not impressed. The place which was brand new when I went last time is no longer new. The woman at the front desk clearly demonstrated why she chose her current profession over brain surgery and the world of brain tumors is the better for it. And the wait. The guy I had last time who was very good, is no longer there. Patrick cut my hair and I thought he was a dud and a half.

Except when he finished cutting my hair. He did not put anything (product) on it. Good. He pulled out the blow dryer ONLY for getting the hair off my face and neck. Good. Then he turned me around to see.

I had taken him to similar photos and said that I wanted like this or like this or something in between. He did not do that but what he did do was way better. I just do not like getting my hair cut. Ms. No Brain Surgeon said that if I made an appointment with Patrick now for next time I could save $5. Ok. Did it.

Then on my way home, I stopped and picked up a delicious sandwich which I just ate so now it's time to get back to work!
