So, our (Seattle Mariners) pitcher gave the National League a nice little go ahead in the first part of this All Star game. I was embarrassed.
The announcers are real dorkheads (they are trying to work their way up to Fuckchop level). They kept saying over and over again (they have to repeat everything a million times) that if the National League gets the lead in the first 6 innings then the American Leage is toast.
I'm happy to say that they are now proven wrong. In the 9th, the American League just took the lead.
I never was even moderately interested in the All Star game - even when it was here. But this year whichever league wins gets home advantage in the World Series. If the American League wins then I just know the Mariners are going to get there this year. I just know it.

Red Sox catcher Jason Varitek's response: "We're not counting on them to win the division."
