machupicchu . I wonder if they included Canada in The World. hmmmm.
I know one day I will drop my cellphone into the toilet. I don't know when, but I know it will happen. It's kind of my own personal Doomsday.
Coffee makes breakfast! I hate to cook but I do make a decent breakfast. Not as good as my brother who has this great trick of creating amazing breakfasts out of last night's leftovers. But, I do get by. I do not often make breakfasts here because, as I realized this morning, I have no coffee. Coffee, to me, is a breakfast essential. Now I have coffee and so this morning I made breakfast!
I plan to spend most of this day catching up on TV. My TiVos are stuffed. It always happens in May because the regular TV run the last of their series for May sweeps and before the Summer tv vacation and there is baseball on nearly every evening. So shows get recorded but not watched. The last couple of years it has not been such a problem since the baseball sucked like a Dyson but... this year, and I need to whisper here so as not to tempt fate (see End of World above), the Mariners are very close to not sucking . Last night's game was outstanding. A walk off win against a very good team. Quite fun.
But before we get to the TV watching, I have a couple of errands to run. But, first I want to finish my coffee.

Oh my god! Just the other day I was on the subway and noticed a poster ad for that end-of-the -world date. It had something to do with the "Bible code," I think. I just remember looking at it and thinking, Really?
