And finally it is here
May. 10th, 2011 03:43 pmOne of the reasons I have long lusted after a Lenovo was the keyboard. The few times I got my hand on a Thinkpad keyboard, my fingers fell in love. Then they came out with IdeaPads and changed the keyboard according to the reviewers but it still looked good to me.
My IdeaPad arrived an hour ago and my fingers think they are at a spa. The keys are all where they are supposed to be and none are hard to hit and all are snappy and responsive. I can type fast and easily. ahhhhh.
It's a beauty, my new tangerine laptop. The perfect size for me. Perfect. I love it.
Lenovo has some strange bloatware but that's easy to blow away. I love installing Chrome and hitting 'sync' and having all my essentials in place. Mail's all set up. Bookmarks lined up just like I like 'em. The cloud rocks. It used to be so painful to get just the essentials moved - loaded and operational - to a new computer. Now it is a snap. I still have to load in that stupid iTunes for my iPad and a couple of other non-cloudy things I like but this is cool.
First, however, I must do what is surely going to be 4,897 Windows Updates. Cloud raining.
