owie and yum!
May. 11th, 2011 11:57 amAch my aching head but not so much from what you think....
A major section of the content management system I use when out late yesterday afternoon. They have not fixed it yet and I really need it to do the work they want me to do.
But, even before that, I was unable to RAS into the network today and a RAS connection is required for the training I had to do. I spent 8:30 to 10 trying to get in with no luck. It eventually took running Windows Update 4 times and then once more and installing optional updates before I could get in. Meanwhile, I wasn't the only one affected so the meeting got postponed until tomorrow.
I finally did get in but most of what I need to do, I can't until they get it fixed.
And... the numbness wore off. The doctor said it would hurt when it did and I should take Tylenol. Not aspirin or ibuprofen or anything else - only Tylenol. I figured 1) she had mistaken me for a wimp and 2) surely there is Tylenol in this house. I am a wimp and while I found Alieve, aspirin and ibuprofen - no Tylenol unless it is some of that mixture of unmarked capsules in an unmarked bottle at the back of the cabinet (which, by the way, has found a new home in the trash)...
It was lunchtime and I remembered that the Korean deli across the street has both Tylenol and lunch. This taco salad is delicious and my head is getting better with every passing minute.
All is good.
