Gettin er done
May. 13th, 2011 04:12 pmI was finishing up my work and the entire publishing system went down. That ended my work week!
So I did laundry. Done, folded and... here's the worst part always... put away!!!
Then I whipped up a batch of breakfast muffins. I made them differently this time and I have no clue how they will turn out. I just thought I'd try something different. They are about 10 minutes away from delivery. I cleaned up the kitchen and started up the dishwasher.
And I'm downloading my music from Amazon's cloud to the new computer. I am going to get this music organized if it kills me... and it might. Do I really need 5 copies of In The Year 2525? Amazon did a pretty decent job of organizing and sorting so for most of the 1825 songs, I know what they are, who is singing them, etc. That makes it very easy to cull out the dupes of which there are many. But I still have a whole lotta AudioTrack1 and AudioTrack2, etc.
My plan is to get a single copy of each on this computer and then go through them and identify and fix the meta data for those that need it via something like Media Monkey. Then I will swear never to rip or download unidentified music every again. I also plan to upload the good collection to Google when I get my invite.
The game is at 4 today. And it is now 4:10. I always record it and usually start watching about 30 minutes in.
