Alive but whiny

susandennisLast week I did not even have any Tylenol in the house because I didn't need any. Today I am mainlining the stuff. I found a position to sleep in last night that lasted until about 3 am and then pain woke me up and kept me up. Mainly my knee and leg - just ouch. Finally I got up and took some more Tylenol and managed to get back to sleep and slept pretty well after that.
The swelling has gone down some and I got it pretty cleaned up in the shower without killing myself but still. Ouch.
On the up side my ankle now only hurts when I walk and then only a little. Two out of three spots on my head have totally given the hurt up.
And Betty has turned into Nurse Betty. Ever since I got home last night, she has been so attentive and cuddly, I think she's in danger of getting her cat card pulled. What a sweetie.
I did, indeed, have breakfast here but it was not great. I wanted to use up some sausage I had which, upon tasting, I remembered why it was such a slow mover. At least I got my second cup of coffee exactly when I wanted it.
The rain in Cleveland may prevent the Mariners from losing today. I'm ok either way. The game was supposed to start 10 minutes ago but the tarp is on the field.
Today will be resting and bear knitting and tv watching and mainly trying to keep from injuring myself further.

Did you ever see the movie Nurse Betty? (It came out in 2000.) It's actually really good.
