susandennisTen days ago, I had three cysts removed from my head. I still have stitches in three places on my scalp.
I now have two skinned knees. The first was from a huge fall a week ago where the skinned knee was the least of the problems as I severely bruised my entire leg from the knee to the ankle...
Then yesterday, I did it again - tripped on a nasty bit of invisible air. This time it wasn't nearly so bad but I did skin the other knee and managed to bang up my hip.
Just now, I leaned over to plug in the phone cord and I got bonked hard on the head by the corner of the ottoman that holds the bear stuffing. So now I have a bruise that is swelling in addition to the three spots of stitches on my head.
If I drop dead at home today, it is likely that they will do an autopsy - I believe it is state law with an unexplained death unattended by a physician for anyone under the age of 65.
So here I am, laid out and some poor medical examiner is trying to figure out what killed me with the clues of skinned knees, bumps and stitches on the head, the usual old age blood spots on my hands and arms plus old scars. Probably they would switch from trying to figure out how I died to trying to figure out how I lasted so long!
I think maybe I'm watching too many cop shows on TV.
