Legs are done, ass is next on this guy.

I'm thinking about adding preemie caps to the knitting repertoire. The teddy bears are not good travel knitting. They are stuff as you go and that's kind of a show stopper there for togo knitting.

I really enjoyed knitting on the train this past weekend and it got me thinking about what kind of togo work I could do that would be needed and wanted and fairly easy to find homes for and I thought of preenie caps,

They are small and cute and don't need stuffing and can be different patterns and colors and I'll betcha the Baby Corner (they people who distribute the bears) might just take 'em in.

Plus, it's kind of a continuing need. Premature babies all need hats and I suspect that most parents want to keep the hats once the babies grow out of them...

I'll ask when I make the bear delivery next week.

A preemie cap sounds like a wonderful thing - to be a blessing to the baby, and a keepsake for the parents, and your beautiful energy welcoming that new being into the world!

I'm sure they will be glad to get them.

I can't tell what kind of fiber you are using from your basket photos, but sometimes places can be picky about fiber type with preemie caps. Some places around me (Minnesota) only want cotton. Some will take blends. Some are ok with acrylic because of the hypoallergenic quality. You might want to check with local hospitals, etc., to see if they have preferences also. Then you might have multiple outlets for your high productivity.

Good luck!
