Vuvuzela as alarm ... not so bad
May. 28th, 2011 08:31 amI was kind of awake when I heard the first vuvzela this morning - it was a little after 7. The parking lot is alive with pre-soccer game action. The game starts in 6 hours. These people clearly did not chose to sleep in and rest up for it.
This is one of the great benefits of living where I do. I love hearing all the activity. I don't have to even get dressed to be part of the action. Hell, I don't have to get out of bed! I'd love to see it but The Tree That I Hate prevents most of that.
---
I've got scabs and bruises on two knees. One shin that has a giant bruise that is still a swollen mound like the top of a grapefruit and this morning I woke up with the beginnings of a gout attack on my toe. WTF??? I'd be pretty freaked since the gout can escalate to REALLY FUCKING PAINFUL but I now have the magic gout chaser pills. Hopefully they will work as quickly and efficiently as they have in the past and the gout will be gone tomorrow.
