susandennisI've been icing my leg for 20 minutes every hour and have it elevated. I can't bear the thought of compressing it - or even touching it, past the ice bag so I'm skipping that part. Neighbor Ann who is my own personal team trainer dropped by and agreed that I was doing the right stuff. She said to continue it - baby it and she said I could even leave the ice on longer than 20 minutes if I wanted. She said that tomorrow I should start with heat. She thinks I may have had a deep bone bruise and now I've just really aggravated it.
It screams in pain when I twist it a certain way so I try my best not to twist it that way... It hurts to get up and sit down but once up or down, it's fine unless Travis bumps it. Poor guy when he does, I yelp and scare the crap out of him.
I'm sure glad I do not have to go anywhere or do anything and have the luxury of just being able to sit and not move it.

In other news, I have, for several years now used one particular web client for Twitter. I liked it because it showed threads and it auto refreshed. But, lately it's been pissing me off and the regular Twitter web page now shows threads. It finally dawned on my to get an auto refresh extension and I could just kill the other one. I did and did. I take so long to catch on to some stuff.

I am so enjoying my new ability to see. Using no correction is so easy and fun. I can now read the TiVo detail easily and boy is it nice. Plus my ghetto computer glasses (one lens poked out and the other one magnified to the correct strength) are working so great, that it's kind of hard to imagine how the prescription glasses will be even better.

And I am so grateful that it is not hot. I'm watching the news and seeing how horribly hot it is in so many parts of the country. It's wonderfully cool and comfortable here.
