The bears of May are bagged up and ready to go first thing tomorrow. Here's what they looked like in the green chair...

may bears

may bears

may bears

may bears

Oh and two baby caps - one small and one preemie.

The bears are as ever their usual shades of wonderful and personality filled... I love the addition of the caps. I hope that they are well received!

Cute! For some reason, I really like all the brown bears.

Another fine crop of ursine comforters primed to embark into a world of adventures!

The little caps are--of course--mighty cute. No doubt they'll be a big hit too.

I've been reading the bear posts for ages. Who are they for? They're gorgeous!

I'm glad to know the whole story. I did know part of it.

I can see those bears secretly wanting to interact with each other and be photographed. I can see the wheels turning in those cute little heads. :)

Beautiful! So prolific!

If I may ask, what is your pattern for the bears? What is the gauge/needle size? What is your fiber of choice?

Thank you!

I made a bear a few years ago using the Mother Bear pattern, and I didn't really like it. So I'll have to give your pattern a try.

I was just looking at these and comparing it to the one you gave me for my birthday in 2008 (http://www.flickr.com/photos/machu_picchu/2463062478/in/photostream/), and they've actually evolved quite a bit!

Really? I love my bear but these new designs look better to me. When you say "better bear" do you mean something like sturdier?

In the first photo the bears seem to be circus artists, just forming a pyramid. Lovely. And these bright colours, just perfect for a circus performance! Congratulations to all of you! :-)
