I just read this notice. 'A long time resident'??? Sounds fishy right there. Organizing a brunch of people who live in the 'hood. Planet Java Diner has mediocre food and really horrible service - especially on days when there is a game at one of the stadiums. There is a baseball game at Safeco on Sunday. 11 am is a little outside my personal brunch window.

In other words the list of reasons not to go is a mile long. Why, then, am I even considering it? I have no idea.

Ahhh, Susan. I suspect it's possible that you're in denial of a serious addiction to Weekend Brunch. Additionally, your suspicions of a crass commercial con may be a symptom of your own jealousy that you didn't start a Neighborhood Brunch Salon of your own in a more congenial setting.

Am I way off base? Or close to the mark? ;~)

I'd be totally suspicious of their motives but probably curious enough to show up anyway...with back-up plans to take off as soon as I get annoyed. :)
