Not much is happening here today. I've finished my 8 hours of work and they weren't terrible. The current work is still excruciatingly needlessly tedious.  But, I work where I want.  I set my schedule.  I'm paid handsomely.   So I should shut up.

in the mail today was some junk mail from Discover.  I did not realize that my Discover card gave me an extended warranty on stuff.  There are a couple of other benefits like $150 a day in expenses for travel delays.  Wild.  I had no idea.  No idea either why I even read the card, usually I just toss it in the junk mail bin.

It's now getting warm in the house and there are little tufts of Betty all over the place. I pick up one and turn around and there are 3 more.  I don't remember her shedding quite so much in past years.  Not that I blame her, that coat must be a bitch in hot weather.  I hope she's grateful that the humidity is low.

I really do have nothing for this entry.  It's a nice, warm, uneventful Monday.  The Mariners are in Chicago and game time here is 5 which works for me.  The west coast is really the correct coast for baseball fans.  I so well remember when I lived on the east coast and had games that started at 10 pm.  That's just crazy.

A few years ago Jesse decided to actually read the paperwork he was getting from Chase. We learned all about reward points, and we learned that we had a butt-load of the buggers because we never knew they existed. Sometimes it is good to read the junk mail. Other times it is nice to use the junk mail to cover your floor when you are painting.
