My plan was to meet [livejournal.com profile] machupicchu and [livejournal.com profile] seattlejo for brunch. I managed to change the sheets on the bed and get the laundry started before I left and still get there a little early [livejournal.com profile] seattlejo was already there. Brunch was great. Well, the company was great, the food, not the best. I think I'm done with that place.

After breakfast, [livejournal.com profile] machupicchu was looking to kill some time before his movie so we stopped off to check out sandals. Found none and then took the train up to Beacon Hill so I could show him my best mountain view spots. Alas, it was too cloudy to see mountains but we walked around a while. I love that neighborhood and I love walking around it and enjoyed it today.

Home for me and movie for him. I got home in time to watch the Mariner ass patting victory march off the field. Sorry I missed the game but so glad they won it. Swapped out the wash into the dryer and started a new load and now I'm resting with a cold glass of iced tea.

We did a lot of walking on a lot of uneven surfaces. I had on my most stable shoes and we weren't going fast but got around with no problem. I am so very conscience now of nearly every step. About ever 10 I say a little silent 'thanks for not letting me fall' prayer.

It was a nice way to get in some exercise. Now I think I'll get in some knitting while I finish the laundry.

What's the name of the place you're writing off?

That's unfortunate. Frank and I almost went to Local 360 this morning. I was considering going there for dinner tonight.

The yelp reviews say dinner is amazing and while it was only ok , I'd give it a try again.

Lovely to hear you're out and about with no problems !

The name "beacon Hill" always reminds me of a range of beautiful fabrics I used to work with, indeed it was an American company....
