My cats rarely snub any new toy or cat thing. They may give it up after a day or two but usually they fight over it for the first 24 hours. Some wild hair made me buy this thing last week and boy did it ever get a yawn. Betty has tried it out a couple of times for naps as you can see here. Travis sniffed it about once a day and daily proclaimed it not worth his bother.
It is pretty, though. I think we'll probably re-gift it.

This is the week of eats. Tomorrow I am going to have the most elaborate and expensive meal I have ever had. I am going to the Herbfarm.
Years ago, it was in a much smaller location and reservations were more precious than diamonds. You had to call on a certain day and take what you got and hope you got a spot in your lifetime. I won a bet off my friend John - a really big one - and the prize was dinner at the Herbfarm. I called. I got through! I got reservations for 2!! In 11 months. Alas, turns out, they did not make John's lifetime. He died 2 months before our date.
Then the Herbfarm burned down.
Then they built it back bigger and now any fool - with more cash than good sense - can get a reservation almost any time they want! It is way north and east of here and not a fun driving distance plus I hate to drive so much. Hiring a ride would cost a bundle but, hey, if you are going to spend nearly $200 for a meal, I guess bitching about a cab there and back is really picking a nit.
But Along Came John... a different John and a Robert -
So finally, I am going to satisfy years of curiosity. I'm already worried about what and how to eat tomorrow to ensure I have room for full enjoyment tomorrow night!

But, now I'm focused on tonight! We are getting together for dinner with
