Cool is so better
Jul. 7th, 2011 11:53 amMy attitude has improved as the day has gone on - it's nice and cool and lovely out.
Work has been a bit twitchy so I just took an early lunch.
Bread salad is kind of growing on me. I have another meal of it and I think in the next round I'm going to add cucumbers and salami - if I get to the store before I eat it. Chef Anita made enough so that each service can be a dinner and then a lunch. It kept very well overnight in the fridge.
I'm finding Twitter way more interesting now that I culled out the chatter and left the headlines plus a few others. By way of that, just now, I discovered this woman http://thesunbreak.com/author/mindyjones/ . She's a Seattlite in Paris for two years and has a blog plus does these columns for a Seattle news blog. Her writing is infectious. I read one column and then kept going. She's now on my radar for sure.
I have Marci's class at the gym today at 2. I am looking forward to it. I need some stretching and some other stuff. I know how to do it. What is missing is the discipline of doing it. How easy would it be to get off the treadmill and do 2 minutes of stretching or some crunches or even some balance stances? Easy peasy. Do I do it? very rarely.
In my next life...
Now it's back to work.
