Better footing

In my relentless search for shoes from which falling is harder than easier, I got two more pairs from Zappos and sent them both back. I don't know what made me think of it but I remembered all those years I wore Crocs and decided to give them a shot.

For years it's all I ever wore. I had winter Crocs and summer Crocs and real Crocs and faux Crocs. I think about the time I started going to the gym, I quit wearing them and I don't know why. At one point I even culled out my vast collection and gave a bunch to Goodwill. But my closet still has lots o' pairs so I pulled one out and started wearing them.

I may have solved the problem. I can walk a long way in them comfortably and drive in them. The only thing I cannot do is walk really fast which is probably good for the not falling down thing.

So, for now, it's Crocs. And I'm quite satisfied. Also the price was right.

Lovely brunch at the Daily Grill. I'd never been there before and it really was nice. We had an exceptional waitress. She kept my coffee topped off until I had to beg her to stop. I'm going to have to go back.

Then we went to see Horrible Bosses. I was on the fence about seeing this but macupicchu asked if I was interested and that tipped me over to the go see it side and omg am I glad I did. I almost would have sat through it again right then. At the risk of spoiling it for anyone reading this, it was maybe the funniest movie I have ever seen. Very sharp, very clever and very funny.

Now I am home. The Mariners are tied. The laundry is laundrying I'll all caught up on LJ and G+ and I think I'll do some bear knittin'
