Blasting the cuteness meter
Aug. 2nd, 2003 11:33 amJake has spent a lot of today guarding what appear to now have become his teddy bears. He'll get up and go somewhere but soon come back to look after his brood. It's truly cracking me up.
It reminds me of my brother when he was little. He had these great rules like "everything I'm touching right now is mine."

Date: 2003-08-02 12:18 pm (UTC)Wonder if he noticed the change in chairs, and is concerned that the teddy's will be taken away or moved? Has Betty showed even a remote interest in them, or are afghans her thing?
My Alex "hides" his "babies" (plastic strips from milk cartons) under his ample body as he sleeps, or in some secret place known only to him. It's necessary, because my Peke dog Joey, will notice one and take it away from him to his chair and chew on it Alex watches, helplessly.
These babies are important to Alex, he loves for me to throw one high up against a wall and catch it in mid-air. He will bring it back to me again and again, fetching like a dog. It's so odd, because the dog will catch his dog toy and run off with it.
Such fun home entertainment!

Jake now moves on to it the minute I leave.

Sometimes Gigi sleeps next to a stuffed bear I have on my bed. Next time I will take a shot then post. She refuses to let me pose her. Cats are stubborn.
