Nothin' new but nothin' bad about that...

susandennisI'm cranking through the world today in my work web pages. So far I've been to Portugal and Italy and Spain (plus 4 other Spanish speaking countries) and Germany (and 2 other German speaking countries)... Up next is more Italy, Brazil and Indonesia.
It's not terribly hot outside but this old building has finally heated up so it's a bitch in here except I'm saved by the air conditioning. This building has lots of 100 year old natural insulation. Some of the timbers that run through the building are 18x18 inches. They take a long time to heat up but they they hold on to that heat almost regardless of what's happening outside.
I have neighbors down the hall who moved here from San Antonio last winter. They were so afraid of moving into a place without air conditioning. They are renting from their unit's owner. I have not run into them lately so I don't have any idea how they are making out. Maybe they are on vacation.

I ordered kitty litter from Amazon this weekend. Hauling kitty litter home from the store is always such a royal PIA. I'm not sure why I never thought to check out Amazon before. I actually have a couple of options - Amazon Fresh and Amazon Regular. As it happens the litter I wanted was on sale from Amazon Regular. I ordered 3 boxes from Amazon. $33. If I'd had the exact order delivered (but arriving on the same day) by Amazon Fresh it would have been $45. And 3 25 pound boxes should last me a while.

Chef Anita is coming tomorrow and she's picking up the handful of other grocery store things I wanted. I so love not having to go to the grocery store. (And, yet, grocery stores are on the top of my list of places to visit when I go out of town - particularly out of the country. Go figure.)

The Mariners do not play to day and so, thankfully, will not lose. They are working diligently to compile a record worse than in the past few years. I think they have a shot at it. I'm losing interest fast.
