Bad idea... litterally

susandennisOk, so my brilliant money saving idea to bulk order kitty litter from Amazon turned out to be a royal turkey.
I ordered three boxes of littler. They came in three shipments.
One Amazon box was leaking litter before I could even open it. I opened it to find that the kitty litter box had opened.
The other two Amazon boxes were taped up nicely.
One housed an opened box of litter. Ugh.
One housed a taped up box of litter.
So... out of three tries, they got it right once. And I got a giant mess, that I had to haul up here from the lobby in three trips plus packing shit that I had to cart back downstairs to the recycle bin.
Lesson learned. Go buy it myself or bite the bullet and order if from Amazon Fresh who will deliver it up here to my unit without spilling and without extra cardboard.

I have a callus on the inside of my right thumb right in the center - as if I constantly grab onto something like a handlebar. Which I do not. I cannot figure out what it is from. I wore a bandaid for a day in hopes that it would help me pinpoint what I'm doing to cause it. It didn't. I am keeping it lubricated with vaseline and lipbaum in hopes of curing it. Weird.

The local MLS team is playing Manchester United across the street tonight. The 'hood should start filling up here pretty soon.

Oh I ran into my neighbors from San Antonio who were so afraid of moving into a place without air conditioning. I asked her how they were managing and she said they were pretty sweltering in their unit. She said they have 5 fans going and are considering another one.
This old building retains heat like crazy. It's really not that hot outside but it really is in here.
