We are having a lovely summer here. Mostly cool and cloudy. I truly do love it.

Lovely for me but I'm pretty sure I'm the only one enjoying it. Everyone else is bitching about the lack of sun, the rain and the clouds. Everyone who is not is the rest of the country and really, honestly frying to death.

Saturday and Sunday here are supposed to be mostly cloudless and sunny and warmer than I want. So I will be here, inside, mostly. I might go over to the gym but I might not even do that. It's lovely and cool in here and so that might just be where I stay.

After dinner tonight. The place I went to last Sunday has daily specials. They all looked great. Tonight I'm going to try out Friday's. They don't start serving dinner until 5 p.m. I want to get there early in hopes of getting a table instead of the counter. Their counter stools are just too uncomfortable.

Then I want to make a quick run to Safeway for dishwasher soap and cake. Then home to the cool insides.

I do need to make some breakfast muffins this weekend.

Astonishing how little meat there is in this entry. Guess I'll go back to work!

Yay! I love the weather, too, but am afraid to say it for fear of all the naysayers. I hate heat and humidity and had more than enough for a whole summer this weekend in Orlando. I'm good, and I love the cooler, cloudy, PNW climate right now. Glad someone else does, too :)

I'm in DC but honestly I have little to complain about as my office building always has the a/c set to Arctic Circle and we also have good a/c at home. I'm not using my weather complaint quota so that all the folks that work outside can have it. :]
