I'm posting because I can
Jul. 28th, 2011 07:16 pmThings seem way better here but I'm bruised. I'm going to leave the entries over at susandennis.blogspot.com. I'm not sure I won't have to go back there. Clearly, I'm dependent on journaling.
I found a bunch of great jigsaw puzzles in the Android market. I spent hours planing Fishdom on iPad while I listened to my audiobooks. But, there is no Fishdom for Android and most of the games of that ilk are pretty lame, but a company called Macte! has more than 50 free puzzle apps out that are wonderfully done. You pick your own degree of difficulty, nice audio feedback, pretty pictures and they look great on the tablet.
By the time I get through all of those, maybe someone will have a good game available.
Also, I'm loving Pulse for news/newsfeeds. In general, I'm just loving the tablet.
No Mariner game tonight. Really. I double checked this time. So I'm up for an evening of junk TV and bear knitting.

Date: 2011-07-29 11:59 am (UTC)One: I suspect Larr and Serg are going to be all-in on this Google Plussy thing, with the blog service either being neglected or, worse, forcibly integrated into that medium.
Of greater importance: they've been getting really cheeky with their Terms of Service bans, particularly with well-known bloggers from other media attempting to use aliases. In some cases, it's been reported, the punishment was the complete deletion of the user's entire Google identity, including their email. I would mildly panic if I suddenly got cut off from Gmail and five other things because of a takedown notice on some picture I used in a blog entry.
But we'll see. LJ seems to have recovered, mostly.
(BTW, sorry about the entry-bombing after I got crossposting back- or whatever it was/is.)
