After an incident a couple of weeks ago, I started checking my blood pressure every morning and every night. The first week and a half, it fluctuated fairly wildly. Then, all of a sudden, it was the same every day - it maybe varied one digit but it has been exactly the same for moreythan a week. I think I'm cured. Or my blood pressure checker is broken. I'm going with cured.

Then tonight I had a coughing fit. All of a sudden I couldn't breath without coughing. It felt like when you walk into a room that is full of dust kind of asthma-ish. And it went on for a really long time. A kind of scary long time. I drank a gallon of water which, at first was so not helpful, I was beginning to think the water was causing it. Finally, it stopped but crap. I enjoy breathing and would rather keep doing it without issue, thank you very much.

The Mariners played like the team I know and love. They lost 9-2 to Texas. Sigh.

I'm watching Design Star. Only one of the contestants need to really get kicked off the island but she needs to get kicked off right this freakin' minute.

Just a suggestion...check info on the web about pulmonary embolism. I've had a few friends who have has close calls, especially after flying. And take an aspirin or two to humor me. If you think there might be a problem, go to the emergency room right away.

I'm a reality show addict and I bet I know who you wanted kicked off, it's got to be Kathy!! She is awful, so full of herself and obnoxious. I can't believe she won the 1 minute tv challenge, and without winning that she would have been sent home because her design qualities suck!

Also there was some weird stuff in that episode. I think the editor lost his mind. The one chick wins the TV challenge that was to go 60 minutes exactly by going 50. The judges were all kinds of snarky when they were walking around the rooms but then seemed to change their minds when they got back to the judge room. Weird.

I love Design Star and have watched it every year it's been on. But, as with everything else in my life it seems, I'm so far behind. I just finished taping the 5th episode the other day, but just finally watched the first episode this morning. I forgot how much I like that show and will start watching it more quickly now.
In the first episode I watched, I thought Kathy should have gone, too. Yes, she is too full of herself and I thought that immediately when she gave her 30 second speech. And yet, she is still there . . . bah!

I hope that coughing spell was a one timer. I can imagine how scary that must have been for you. But glad to hear your BP is back on track.

See? I'm afraid to wait on Design Star and Project Runway. I'm afraid I'll read spoilers like you just did! Only probably in Kathy's case it's just as well not to have gotten your hopes up :)
