I've been using financial software for years. I was a beta tester for a really embryonic online system of Chase Manhattan's in the mid 80's. Then I went to Quicken and no online connection. When Quicken was late to catch up to Windows95, I switched to Microsoft Money. In the mid-90's I switched to a credit union simply because they offered full support of Microsoft Money. Every year I get the new version the minute it comes out. But, lately I've been frustrated because it just isn't behaving the way I want it to and I have some investments with American Express (a truly luddite company - if I didn't have a wonderful adviser there, I'd ditch them in a skinny minute) and I have to input the information manually which drives me nuts.

Anyway, today I logged on to my credit union account to check something and discovered they are piloting a new program. It's called Aggregate. It took me about a half hour to set the whole thing up, and it was so worth it. This little trick downloads all of my financial information from every account I have everywhere. My credit cards, my mortgage, my investments (even from luddited American Express), my stock account - everything from everywhere and puts it all in one place. At the end of the half hour, I had my total financial picture, up to date, in numbers and pie charts. It is so cool, I cannot stand it. I would pay for this service and here it is totally free.

Some days life is full of delights. My Mariners played their first home game - exhibition today - and won. Happy day.

Hey, I started a Mariners community (seattlemariners (http://www.livejournal.com/userinfo.bml?user=seattlemariners)) and I'm getting the word out to all M's fans. Hope to see you there!
