Here are the details of the envelope I made today for my tablet.

transformer sleeve

I folded a generous hem on all four sides of a top and a bottom. Then with iron on double-sided fuzing, I fuzed a piece of felt to the wrong sides of each piece. Then I drew a bead of glue around the edge of the bottom and put the top on it and pressed. Oh then I glued on velcro dots at the top.

Here's what it looks like with the table in it.

I used Unique Stitche. It's like Elmers - hell, it probably is Elmers! There were several fabric glues to pick from - this one won because it was cheapest and it did not require an iron (did I mention I am lazy?).

What I wanted was something cheery and simple and does not take up any space (like in my purse). I'm happy with the result. $18.10.

The idea of being able to glue together seams is weird, but very cool. And probably easier on something small like that.

Hrms. Learn something new, and all that.
