If it's Tuesday...

susandennisChef Anita is in the kitchen making all kinds of wonderful smells. The sun has moved away from the living room and things are cooling off. It's a good day.
There is plenty of work to do and it's nice, satisfying, fix-it work. The Mariners have a 2 game winning streak going and play Toronto again tonight (and Toronto kind of sucks like we so so there's a chance the streak could be extended).

When I gave up my landline last Spring, I ported the number over to my backup cellphone. I was astonished when all of the telemarketer calls stopped immediately. I was averaging 1 or 2 every day and as soon as the landline was canceled, the calls stopped dead. I have always had my number on the donotcall list and I used to routinely answer and request my number be removed from their list but I gave up on that.
All was calm and peaceful and quiet for about 4 months and then they found me again. They have an important message about my credit card. They need me to vote this way or that. They can just bite me. The ringer is now turned off. The voicemail says if they want to talk to me to call my cellphone number and it gives them the number.
Happily, they have not found my cellphone number. When they do, I'll turn that ringer off.

I'm still wrestling with how to share content between here and Google+. I think I'm going with links. Google+ gives you a nice little LiveJournal pencil and a preview. It just means I need to make sure my first sentence or two doesn't sound amazingly stupid.
Eventually, they will automate the process - they being LiveJournal or Google or both but for now, it's build it yourself.
