arugh - planters fashionista strikes again...

I think plantar fasciitis sounds both creepy and elitist so I call it planters fashionista. I had it once before on my right foot. It went away.

Yesterday it attacked my left foot. And today the first couple of steps after I get up are really painful, then it gets better and it's not bad at all when I have shoes on.

I filled up a small water bottle, froze it and put it in a sports sock and rolled my foot over it several times a day last time. It was still in the freezer when I looked tonight, so I'm rolling now. It feels good.

I'd be fine if this goes away soon.

That's good. Anything with an "itis" is an inflammation, and the ice will help relieve it. There are several other recommendations I give my clients. Let me know if you want more info.

Wear shoes at all times, even if you get up to go to the bathroom at night.

Went through planters fashionista thing a couple of years ago and it is very painful. I was ready to cut off my foot. Took nearly a year to get rid of it.

I had this once a few years ago. Mine was very painful and lasted about six months before it totally went away. Sounds like you're doing the right things for it. I hope it gets better real soon.

I think this is the second time that we have both had PF issues at the same time. Maybe it has something to do with the alignment of the planets, but ow. I'll have to try the frozen water bottle trick because I've been hurting for maybe 4 days now. Good luck with yours.

Mine is a little better today. I walked in and out and all through stores today and it did not bother me much at all. Good luck - and yeah the frozen water bottle trick is awesome - roll your foot over it - chilly massage.
