I under estimated

susandennisI figured today would be a little more of the 9/11 wallowing than the previous week has been but I was wrong. I forgot about the internets. G+ is turning out to be the worst offender. I'm done. I'll fire it up again in the morning but no more for today.
I appreciate that some people need and revel in this kind of thing. So I'll give 'em today (and last week) but no more.
Thankgod for Pandora and TiVo (but, sadly, no CBS Sunday Morning today).
I thought about going to the gym this morning but it does not open until 9 and by 9 the sun was out and already frying up the place and I knew it would be streaming in over the treadmills so no thank you. Ditto the swim. Yes, the car is air conditioned but the sun in unrelenting and I want no part of it.
So I am here with the shades drawn and Pandora entertaining me. I thought up a idea for a different breakfast. It was about a 50% fail but it was at least half good. It involved cooking bacon and put out two bowls of vinegar and it seemed to have worked... I'm not smelling bacon. I need to go out in the hall and come back in and see if the smell is really gone. That would be so great to fix that problem.
I'm going to finish cleaning up the kitchen, start the laundry and maybe take a stroll around the building just to stretch my legs and clear my nose for a smell check when I get back.
Then some knitting and some movies that I have on TiVo. I might watch the baseball game. Yesterday we saw the trailer to Moneyball. Can't wait for that movie.
Travis is snoozing under the quilt on the bed and Betty is right here being adorable. Her hair is growing back slowly. It's hard to imagine her now with all that hair.
