Swim fail now LJ fail.. is it Monday??

So off to the new pool, I go. I plan extra time to get there. I got into the pool 3 mins after the class started. Way too much traffic. Way too many red lights (was there a fuckin' sale or something???) One way streets going the wrong way and no parking on tiny streets. Even my tiny car was challenged.
The class is also packed. This is clearly the White People's Pool. 98% were old white people. 2% were old but they were more translucent. The instructor was good, but clearly she and the class had been together for a long time - there was a lot of short hand I didn't get. It was ok and better than some of the others but I don't need to go back.
I'm seriously thinking that on mondays/wednesdays and fridays, I'll crank up some tunes and do my own thing. I think I can do it.
Coming home was a little easier until I came off the viaduct to a traffic back up because some bozo driving a semi thought he was driving a smart car and took a turn to tightly. His ass was up on the jersey barriers and a very pissed off cop was doing a very piss poor job of directing traffic.
Then I get onto LJ to write about all these adventures and it is down but clearly LJ doesn't know it yet. Status is still saying everything is ok. Status is wrong!
Glad I have this little back up operation going here.
Time to get back to work. I'm working on the new project today or rather it's working me. Whew.
