Man that blackout thing is not even fun to watch. I have no fear of being stuck in an elevator per se, but whenever I am in one that makes a funny noise or falters a little my first thought is 'how long ago did I pee?'

But the biggie for me would be no air conditioning.

Our first word was from our airline customers calling us to alert us that their calling volumes would be ramping up as they had to cancel flights and call all the passengers. Fortunately, we learned a great lesson with September 11. We know how to turn on a dime for our customers and they love it. The guy at United told our services guy 'you guys are the only bright spot in our day!'

Work was fine. I will have to go in tomorrow but it's ok.

I am spending a lot of time being grateful for my electricity.
